Dorset Sportsmen all Aquiver 

On Bank Holiday Sunday Dorset Sportsmen's lodge held their first social event, a BBQ at the Scouts' Butchers Coppice site near Bear Cross.
Arranged with our thanks by Tim Wills with the help of his wife Liz and the BBQ cooking skills of Dave and Sandra Packer a good time was had by all.

Over £1000 Raised!!! 

On 2nd December 2017 the Dorset Masonic Shooting Association held their first event in the form of a Target Sports Family Fun Day.

This was attended by members of the Dorset Sportsmen's Lodge and their families and raised £1200 for Action for Children, Lifelites and Reverse Rhett.

All three being very deserving causes.

A Try Scored For The Dorset Destroyer WRC 

W.Bro Ian Taylor went along to the Rossmore Leisure Centre, Poole, to present a cheque for £270 to The Dorset Destroyer WRC. After the presentation they let Ian have a go but took it easy on him.

Ian spent a long time talking to club members who described the club and gave him a basic run down of the sport.

Men and women compete on a level basis.

Sportsmen and Friends of Dolphin together in Poole 

The Friends of Dolphin is a Registered Charity No.284692 is a fantastic charity and is supported in part by the Dorset Sportsmen's Lodge 9942.

The single purpose of the Charity is to provide free trips in Poole Harbour for disabled persons of all ages and disabilities who are unable to use the normal pleasure craft which operate in Poole Harbour.
The maximum number of passengers that can be accommodated on each trip is 12; this number includes carers and any wheelchairs. more...
